New Rectorate Takes Office

On 1 April 2025, the new Rectorate at the University of Greifswald picked up the baton. Rector Prof. Dr. Katharina Riedel started her second term of office with new Pro-Rectors Prof. Dr. Peter Michalik, Prof. Dr. Anette Sosna, and Prof. Dr. Daniel Schiller. Lukas Voigt has also commenced his second term as Student Pro-Rector.

Dies academicus on 15 May 2025

Members of the university community are warmly invited to the annual academic celebrations on the Loefflerstraße Campus from 2.00 p.m. onwards. Following the presentation of honours such as the Teaching Prizes and the Sustainability Prize, the Rector will open the outdoor festivities.
